I think Audrey is the best Kitesurfer in the world because she is doing it with her big heart.
You are Amazing.
I think Michelle is the BEST …she is very inspirational
Christine sletchier should be most influential girl!!!!
Head in the clouds, feet on the ground, Go Davina !
Go Michelle!!!!
I think Kristin Boese should be in here as “Most Influential” She after all helped set up and drive the KSP and it’s proving to be a huge success… not sure what some of these girls have influenced…. Great initiative though!
Well, you should have nominated her then RobM…
We agree that Kristin is doing great things for kitesurfing, especially with her KB4Girls initiative and the KSP, but since the competition was run on a nomination basis, it wasn’t up to us to add her to the list…
Michelle has been such a great inspiration to me and other girls to take up kiteboarding, that I think she deserves my vote. Well done girl. Sunny South Africa is so proud of you!
Go Davina Go

Audrey is definitely an inspiration to me. She is not only a top kitesurfer but she also motivates women into kiting. She is a genuine solid and kind personality that kites with her heart! This is a title that fits her well.

Davina Stephens is the most amazing all-round female athlete I have known. Taking up Kitesurfing is no surprise and wanting to share her love of this sport with her friends is typical of her generous heart. I have watched windsurfing for many years marveling at the skill and freedom of the sport, sad that my arthritic hand will never allow me to try windsurfing myself.
Everyone who knows Davina will want her to win this competition. She is a very special women and deserves to become The Most Influential Girl Kitesurfer for 2011. I most certainly do.

Because of the unique beauty and style of.
Davina – amazing, inspiring, fabulous!!!!!!
Davina ray of sun , open and bright , right here and now, absolutely inspiring !
Davina: I heard about your competion thru my pal Dr. Mildred Hudson of Helena, AR., and I read all the material on your background and kitesurfing activities. I live in New York City. You sound like a real daredevil with the guts and will to win. I certainly hope my vote helps you in achieving this goal. All the best.
As Charlie Sheen, the actor would say – “WINNING!”
Sincerely,
Selwyn Garraway
All the best to Audrey, fellow http://www.explorergirls.com
Bonne chance !!! On se voit l’été prochain à Cabarete , le meilleur spot du monde , mon préfère !… Bon vent !!!
Julia Brown is THE BEST Everyone who knows Julia will want her to win this competition. She is a very special women and deserves to become The Most Influential Girl Kitesurfer for 2011. I most certainly do. Her family home is wellknown, she is a very good girl. Greets from hamelin city of the pied piper
Sandrine for sure! Who is a better ambassador for the sport of kite boarding??
Go you little champion!!
It doesnt make sense for Kari to win, she’s already a clothing (dwarf8) and board sponsor (nomad)
I suppose the girl who has the most FB friends and will get them to vote will win after all. But a girl, who set up a kitesurfing centre on a place which was never known as a kite surfing destination, brought it up on the map, raising up many happy kitters while inspiring more to start and all while being a single mother is the most influential girl kitesurfer. Julia Brown.
D….daredevil

What makes you say that?
What happened with the voting? Nrs down…??
Hey William,
Wow, that was quick. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice….
Unfortunately we had to adjust the vote counts due to some over enthusiastic fans engaging in mass voting tactics. As per our competition rules, we had to disqualify those duplicate votes to keep the competition fair for all involved. You can find more information on this in this article we published a few hours ago:

Thanks for all your support guys!
Must be disappointing for some of the girls. Glad to see my favorite Michelle Smith is still in the top 4. Go girl, by far the best and most influential.
great davina!!!
Go Michelle. U verdient om te winnen. Het is een groot voorrecht om te stemmen voor je. Je bent veel meisjes held.
Michelle gets my unbiased vote.
In a world of lowering values it is assuring to know there are still young people out there, like Michelle, who has set herself very high standards and principles. Michelle I believe is a fantastic role model for all young people.
All the girls are awesome! but I vote for my self And would love to attend the next event!
Aloha!
Cheers guys!
Roxy
Only meeting Audrey recently, I was very impressed with her lovely spirit and abilities in the water and on the land. She has lived “The Dream” which is not an easy path, and recovered from injury by sheer will power and athleticism, to be able to do a great time in NY Marathon after ACL reconstruction is an inspiration to anyone with knee niggles!
A lovely person – She gets my vote…………
There is no question about this. At the end of the day, anyone who actually reads the interviews will know that Sandrine is the only one that is doing incredible work- check out the foundation she started, and all the work she is actually doing.
The other girls are nice, and have lots of friends, but don’t come close to being truly influential and good for the community.
Go Sandrine!
For me All Contestants Are Winners.
Light, Love and Aum to ALL Contestants.
God Bless.
I vote Kari, Kari is awesome and great! Good Luck Kari..
Go Kari…..
Gisela Pulido
Alle voorspoed vir jou, hou Alex se naam hoog!!!
I definetely vote for Sandrine, not because she is my sister, but because she is trying so hard to promote the sport (for free) with a new foundation, after working for the IKO for so may years, playing a serious role in the development of the kite industry. My second choice then goes to Audrey and then to Laurel, both pros as well.
Go SANDRINE!!!! Your friends from CABARETE!!
